Is There a Ghost In My House?

Doing renovations to your childhood home means becoming suddenly and unexpectedly sentimental over the strangest things, like the contact paper lining the kitchen cabinets and drawers that are probably older than I am.

As I sit here, peeling, cleaning, reminiscing, I find the song by @bandofhorses, "Is There A Ghost" playing in my head. But I already know the answer. Ghosts of past lives and people not yet dead are here with me every day.
